EWB Summit & Award 2024
Celebrating female impact entrepreneurship
About the event
Theme of 2024 "Empowering Female Entrepreneurs"
Welcome to the 2024 edition of the EWB Summit & Award.
This is the 6th annual EWB Summit & Award and we are so happy to see so many people and partners joining forces to meet, network, reflect and celebrate.
The EWB Summit & Award is one part keynotes, short powerful talks by inspiring individuals, one part award where we get to celebrate the person or organization that we feel represents the core values of EWB – Sustainability, Equality and social responsibility, and of course one very big part networking and interacting with like-minded individuals.
This year, we are embracing a powerful shift in our mission: supporting female impact entrepreneurship. Our renewed focus is born from both personal experience and the undeniable need to address the inequities women face in the entrepreneurial world.
For years we have been witnessing first-hand the challenges women face in entrepreneurship. It’s no secret that the path for women—especially in the world of start-ups, scaleups and investment—is a difficult one. Women receive less funding, less mentorship, and fewer opportunities, not because of a lack of talent or vision, but because of systemic barriers.
We want to actively do more to support women entrepreneurs by putting faith in the vision, capabilities, and drive of female founders.
That’s why we’re pivoting the focus of EWB to elevate and support female impact entrepreneurs—women who are not only growing businesses but building a more equitable, sustainable future.
